Product Pricing
The pricing listed on the website is subject to change without notice. Price changes will not affect any orders that have already been shipped. The final price charged will be the price prevailing at the time the order is placed. If a pricing or descriptive error is found on an item, we have the right to cancel your order of that item.
Product Availability
While the Solar Shield® Sunglasses website generally has availability indicators on each product page, such information is only advisory and should not be relied upon as fact. Backorders
If a product is not in stock when your order is placed, we will email you a notification of the backorder and expected replenishment date. You will have the choice to keep your order on backorder or cancel it.
Return Policy
Returns on Non-Prescription Eyewear Purchases
Solar Shield® Sunglasses gladly accepts returns on non-prescription sunglasses, eyeglasses, goggles, and other products within 30 days of delivery. Items must be returned in new, unused condition with original tags and packaging included. Once received and inspected, we will issue a full refund to the original payment method.
Returns or exchanges will not be accepted after the 30-day window from the date the order was delivered. Solar Shield® Sunglasses does not accept returns or exchanges on prescription eyewear, custom orders, or sale items, unless the products are damaged or defective.
Prescription Lens Purchases
Prescription eyewear cannot be returned or exchanged except for reasons of defect or damage. We will remake or repair any defective prescription lenses or frames purchased through Solar Shield® Sunglasses at no additional charge.
Remade prescription orders can only be shipped to the original prescription address provided. Only the cost of prescription lenses themselves will be refunded if a remake is not feasible. Additional non-prescription accessories purchased as part of your order can be returned within 30 days, as long as they are unused and undamaged.
Return Process
To begin the return process, email us at [email protected] or contact us at 1-800-SUN-GLASSES. We will provide instructions on how to return your item(s) with a Returns Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. RMA numbers expire 30 days after they are issued.
Return shipping costs will be paid or reimbursed by us. All return shipping charges must be pre-approved. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen return packages. Returns must be shipped back within 30 days of the RMA being issued, or the return will be classified as abandoned.

Solar Shield® Sunglasses offers shipping to the United States via USPS and FedEx. We display real-time calculated shipping rates at checkout based on your delivery destination, order size, and service speed. Shipping fees cover the costs of transportation only – no handling fees are added.

For orders outside the continental United States, we offer USPS International shipping. Rates are calculated at checkout based on country.
Change of Address
If you change your shipping address after an order has been placed, we will do our best to accommodate the request. However, once the shipping label is printed and an order enters the fulfillment process, the shipping address can no longer be changed.
Shipment Tracking
You will receive a shipment confirmation email with tracking number when your order ships. Tracking details can be easily followed on the carrier’s website.
Loss or Damage During Shipment
We ensure orders are securely packaged to avoid damage in transit. However, unforeseen conditions can at times cause disturbances or losses. Inspect your order promptly upon delivery before signing for it. If an order arrives damaged, incomplete, or faulty, contact us within 48 hours with details of the problem. We will arrange for a replacement or issue a refund.

Warranty and Product Liability
Manufacturer’s Warranty
Nearly all Solar Shield® Sunglasses merchandise comes with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and craftsmanship, unless otherwise noted. This covers replacement or repair for products confirmed to be faulty. It does NOT cover lost, stolen, or damaged products due to wear and tear or user negligence.
Prescription lenses and frames purchased together have a lifetime warranty to remake them if breakage occurs. This lifetime warranty cannot be transferred to a new owner if the eyewear is resold by the original buyer.
Product Liability
The user assumes all risk of bodily harm resulting from using Solar Shield® Sunglasses products. We accept no liability for harm or damages caused by failure to follow proper safety procedures, perform adequate research, or misuse of products in a way other than intended purpose.
While Solar Shield® Sunglasses eyewear meets all U.S. regulations and safety standards, exposure to the sun and other sources of UV radiation inherently pose risks. Our products are intended to minimize exposure-related damage, not provide full protection under all circumstances. Proper discretion is advised when using this UV-protective gear.
